British Pairs Shine in Warsaw: Roundup of ISU Challenger Series Warsaw Cup 2023

A second-place finish in the short programme and third in their free dance saw British skaters Anastasia Vaipan-Law and Luke Digby land the Silver medal for pairs skating at the 2023 Warsaw Cup.

Fellow British pairs skaters Lydia Smart and Harry Mattick narrowly missed out on a podium finish, finishing just 1.17 points short of Bronze medallists Ioulia Chtchetinina and Michal Wozniak; a fantastic result for an exciting up and coming pair of skaters.

In the men's competition Ed Appleby secured 9th position overall, while Nina Povey also finished in 9th in the women's singles. Compatriots Layla Karnes and Liam Carr meanwhile represented GB in ice dance, finishing a solid 10th in a competitive field.
