British Ice Dancers Lilah Fear and Lewis Gibson have been selected to compete at two ISU Grand Prix events next season. The pair, who finished 7th at last season’s World Championships, will skate at the Skate Canada International and NHK Trophy in Japan.
GB Pair Zoe Jones and Christopher Boyadji will also appear at Skate Canada in October.
Fear and Gibson will face tough competition when they travel to Vancouver with 2021 World bronze medallists Piper Gilles and Paul Poirier set to feature on home soil as well as the Italian duo of Charlene Guignard and Marco Fabbri. The competition will take place from October 29th - 31st.
Jones and Boyadji will be up against 2018 Olympic silver medallists Wenjing Sui Cong Han from China and Canadas’ Kirsten Moore-Towers and Michael Marinaro in the Pairs event.
Just two weeks later, from 12th-14th November, Fear and Gibson will compete in the NHK Trophy in Tokyo, Japan.
2021 World Champions Victoria Sinitsina and Nikita Katsalapov will head the group of Ice Dancers at the fourth Grand Prix of the series.
A total of 38 Men, 44 Ladies, 25 Pairs and 34 Ice Dance couples representing 21 ISU members have been invited to take part in the Grand Prix Series.
