Yes, this is yet another entry in which I applaud myself for completing a challenging task in the name of blogging. On Saturday, a fellow blogger and I met at the brand-new Krispy Kreme location in Queensgate. Rachel, aka Blogging Mummy, is a local mom blogger.
Queensgate Krispy Kreme Donuts
Jordan, who was waiting to greet us, was extremely cordial and eager to usher us to our seats. Neither Rachel nor I had any idea what to anticipate. But I can say without a doubt that we were not expecting to presented with a spread as impressive as this.
I counted my blessings that I had missed breakfast. Because I was in a hurry. We didn’t want Jordan’s royal feast of donuts and smoothies to go to waste. She even made us “baby Donuts” because she knew we were mothers. Which was very sweet of her.
Donuts
Despite only having worked for Krispy Kreme Promo Code for the past three weeks. Jordan was an incredibly enthusiastic representative, and she knew her company’s history inside and out. She even made the effort to design and print her own lovely tags and greeting cards. In the future. I may need to borrow her for some logo design work.
Over eighty years ago, on July 13, 1937. The first Krispy Kreme shop opened in Old Salem, Winston Salem, North Carolina after founder Vernon Rudolph purchased the secret yeast-raised recipe from a New Orleans French chef. In 1989, they launched their first retail-only store in Greensboro, North Carolina, and in 2003. They arrived in the United Kingdom with the opening of their first store in the Harrods department store.
Daily Supply of New Produce
Peterborough Hot Light’s Hampton location is responsible for the daily production of the Donuts. Which then transported to the Queensgate location. When we asked Jordan what happens to the unsold or low-quality doughnuts at the end of each day. She said that Leafield Feeds Ltd. recycles them.
Doughnuts are ground up with other ingredients to make a flour-like raw material. That can be used in baking goods like bread, Yorkshire pudding, and cakes. Other companies receive this component and incorporate it into animal feed.
Smoothies and Donuts
Truth be told I surprised to learn that Krispy Kreme sold Smoothies. But I can attest to their deliciousness. Jordan had made a selection of miniature smoothies for us to try before settling on one for a full glass. I had a hard time deciding between my three favorites (Mango Chiller, Lotus Biscoff Kreme shake, and Caramel Latte Chiller). But in the end, I went with the Strawberry Kreme Shake.
They also have an excellent coffee menu. But I was too warm for a cup.
Jordan not only provided Smoothies. But also a variety of Donuts for everyone to try. Rachel wasn’t playing fair, as you can see; she tried to take them all for herself. But I managed to get a couple back. Even though Nutty Chocolate and Reece’s Peanut Butter Kreme are my usual ice cream of choice. Rachel’s Lemon Meringue was so good that I switched. I also tried the Cruller, which was like a cake doughnut but even better, and the Strawberry Kreme. One of Jordan’s favorites is the Chocolate Dreamcake.
Many thanks to Krispy Kreme
I’m sure we raised some eyebrows with our table piled high with delicious Krispy Kreme treats and just the two of us sitting there. But I assure you we didn’t finish everything. We spent a delightful morning at Krispy Kreme with Rachel, and we plan to return. So, cheers to Krispy Kreme, and please keep up the excellent work!
