Grand Theft Auto V has been out for awhile now and unfortunately it has been met with some negative criticism from the gaming community. I myself have been one of those people that have spoken out about the game. I feel that it is still a quality game though and not as much fun as other versions of the series.
In September of 2021, we got the grand theft auto vegas release date for the PC. Well, it was only a teaser at first, but it quickly got fans all hyped up. So we got a lot of hype for the release of the game. This then led to the reveal of a new game called Grand Theft Auto Online. A couple of months later, we got the official announcement of the new title.
A couple of months after that, we got a whole load more leaks and rumours that fuelled even more speculation. Some people think that the reason that the leak told us about the release date and not the actual game, was because they wanted to give us time to gather information and compare everything they knew about the two. Others believe that it may have been a mistake on the part of Rockstar. So after so much speculation and leaking, we got the confirmation that the official release date of the game is coming up.
Now the next rumour is that there will be another Grand Theft Auto V trailer released before the official release date. There are a lot of big companies out there that make trailers and these trailers are used to promote the release of a game before its official date. If they are using this method for GTA 6 then they must have a lot of confidence in the game’s quality, or they wouldn’t do it.
Then the third rumour is that they will be having more frequent updates for the series. This may be because of the massive success of the first two games. Although we can’t confirm that rumour yet, it doesn’t mean that it isn’t true. The first two games were huge commercial successes and featured huge graphical improvements, so they obviously knew something that we hadn’t heard about before. Maybe we should start expecting to see a lot more of Liberty City and the city streets in future instalments.
All of these rumours are nothing new, but they do bring some excitement back into the game. They also highlight some of the key features of the game that make it so popular with everyone. GTA Online has just got bigger as more news about the game gets released, so it’s exciting to see what’s in store for fans of the series.
